·This low alcohol cocktail was made sometime in the 1880s at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City to honour the Broadway musical of the same name. It was the first show to make it to 500 performances which at the time was the longest running Broadway musical. The Adonis is a perfect luxurious introduction to sherry drinking.

·This 1970s cocktail originated with Jeffrey One at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in the Aviary Bar, with the original drink being served inside a porcelain bird. ·This lesser known New Orleans classic is the former house drink of the historic restaurant La Louisiana built in 1881. The cocktail is a variation on the Vieux Carré, intensifying the rye, skipping the cognac and emphasizing the absinthe flavour, creating a new flavour profile that is still familiar but unique nonetheless. A delightful more herbal forward creation that will appeal to any Manhattan drinker.

·As legend tells, Ernest Hemingway stopped into Havana’s El Floridita bar to use the washroom near the hotel he lived in during much of the 1930s. He noticed the bartender making Daiquiris, took a sip, and asked the bartender to make it with no sugar and double the rum. The bartender obliged and named the drink after him. Over time the cocktail has evolved to feel like a traditional Daiquiri with a Bohemian streak, reduced sugar, substituted grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur for depth and a touch of sweetness.

·This pre-Prohibition classic dates back to the late 1800’s and the Philadelphia Bellevue-Stratford Hotel. The resurgence of the Clover Club can be most credited to Julie Reiner when she opened a cocktail bar in Brooklyn in 2008 named after the classic drink. For this delightful sipper, London dry gin is is complemented perfectly with this cocktail’s tart fruit and silky body.
